It all started with a coffee cup that was too high and a drip tray that was too low. Anyone who loves their espresso machine or desk knows this: mass-produced items often only fit 90 percent of the time. The remaining 10 percent is the daily compromise that eventually got on our nerves.
We were tired of “almost fitting”. That’s why we founded Studio48°Nord.
We combine digital design with real craftsmanship. Our products are the result of a specific need: either a functional solution to a problem is missing – such as tidying up the portafilter – or we want to make a memory tangible, as with our 3D mountain reliefs.
We have no anonymous supply chains. We have designed, printed and packaged every item that leaves our workshop ourselves.

We believe in modern manufacturing with responsibility. We use robust, durable and environmentally friendly PLA for our products – a material that is made from renewable raw materials (such as corn starch) and is biodegradable.
Because we manufacture everything in-house, we have full control. Your order is personally processed and produced by us and is typically securely packed and on its way to you within 24 hours (one working day).
