The dosing funnel for the 51 mm portafilter, now built flatter: 28 mm tall instead of 37.8 mm on the previous funnel. It catches the coffee grounds, and you tamp straight through it without taking it off.

The Workflow
No more coffee grounds on the counter.
The funnel sits above the basket and channels the ground coffee into it. What would otherwise land next to the portafilter now stays in the coffee. It grips onto the three closure tabs on the outside, and the inside stays clear, with room even for a WDT tool.
Because there's no edge in the way inside, you tamp straight through the funnel. You don't have to take it off to compress the grounds.
Built flatter
28 instead of 37.8 millimeters.
The previous funnel stands 37.8 mm tall, this one 28.0 mm. That's around a centimeter less above the portafilter, and less material: 20.53 instead of 31.10 cm³.
On the outside the funnel is laid out as a continuous cone, designed at 19.2°. That's a design value, not a measurement taken on the machine.

Compatibility: not yet approved.
[COMPATIBILITY PENDING]: which Dedica models are approved for this funnel has not been verified yet. Until there's a confirmation, we won't state one here.
The funnel is built for the 51 mm portafilter with three tabs. Whether it sits the same on every Dedica model, we check on the machine before we approve it.

The funnel is only made after your order, in our Munich workshop. Afterwards it's checked, packed by hand, and on its way within 2 business days.
Printed from PLA. No water-carrying parts, so no PETG needed. Wipe with a damp cloth or rinse briefly cold, not dishwasher-safe.
