For every De'Longhi Dedica
I love my Dedica. Simple machine, and set up properly it makes great coffee. One thing always bugged me, though: two cappuccino cups don't fit side by side, and my favourite cup doesn't fit underneath. So I built my own tray. This one was the first. It is flat, 3.2 instead of 4.3 cm, which is a centimetre more room under the spout.
The click puts the item in your cart and the counter at the top goes up. You only order from the cart.
Optional. Lifts your espresso cups 22 mm, closer to the spout, two fit side by side. Sits like a building block: four small feet go into the hole pattern of the tray, nothing slides. Lift it off for cleaning. 120 x 60 mm, PLA.
The Space
The original drip tray and the usual extensions build over 4.3 cm tall. Our Livanto tray measures 3.2 cm. The gained centimeter is often exactly the difference between "doesn't fit" and "fits perfectly".
That means room for tall glasses, a thermal mug or a barista scale under the portafilter too. And despite the flat profile, there's still enough surface for two cappuccino cups side by side.
Materials
The body is PLA, matte black and finely textured, to match the Dedica. The removable container where the water sits is PETG.
Hand-wash both parts briefly. They're not made for the dishwasher.
Care: empty the container, hand-wash with lukewarm water, dry, put back.
Fitting it
Lift the upper grid out of your machine. Underneath is the original drip tray, that comes out too, and below it, depending on the year, a second catch container in metal or plastic. That one comes out as well.
Then you drop our container in and lay the grid on top. Done.
Optional extra
Add it to your order for 8.00 €. It lifts your espresso cups 22 mm, closer to the spout, and two espresso cups fit side by side.

Made in Munich
Your tray is only printed after your order, on a Bambu Lab H2S in our Munich workshop. Afterwards it's checked, packed by hand, and on its way to you within 1 to 3 business days.
You can see the fine print layers on the surface if you look closely. They come from the process and are part of it.

Yes, every one: EC685, EC785, EC885 and Duo EC890. There are no versions left and nothing to look up, because our own drip container sits under the grid and your machine's original parts come out for it. How to fit it is explained further down.
That's exactly what it's built for. At 3.2 cm tall, it's flatter than the original drip tray at 4.3 cm. That leaves room under the portafilter for tall glasses, a thermal mug or a coffee scale.
Despite the flat profile, the footprint stays wide enough for two cappuccino cups side by side.
The grid measures 149.0 × 133.0 × 32.0 mm (width × length × height), the drip container underneath 101.7 × 110.6 × 21.2 mm.
By hand, with lukewarm water and a little washing-up liquid. Just lift out the water-carrying PETG container to empty it. Not in the dishwasher: the heat can deform PLA and PETG.
Matte black is standard, it matches the Dedica. Special requests are still welcome: a different color or an engraving, we do on request, for an extra charge. Write to us at mail@studio48nord.de.
