One-off, from the previous production
Remnant stock: Magnetic "Livanto Design" drip tray
The Livanto tray in the previous magnetic build, ready on the shelf: a one-off 20 % below the previous price. It grips the metal drip plate of the EC685 and EC885 and seats itself when you put it on. No longer produced. Once it's gone, it's gone.
- Snap-fit: extra strong neodymium magnets, invisibly built into the print.
- 3.3 cm tall: over 24 % flatter than the usual extensions at 4.3 cm.
- The perforated Livanto grid lets every drop through and keeps the cup steady.
- Water-carrying container made of PETG, simply lift out to empty.
- Needs the metal drip tray insert: for EC685 and EC885.
The magnets need the metal drip tray insert that the EC685 and EC885 come with from the factory. If you have an EC890 with a plastic insert, take the Honeycomb Drip Tray in the version without magnets. Same tray, same room.
The click puts the item in your cart and the counter at the top goes up. You only order from the cart.
Snap-Fit
It pulls itself into position.
The neodymium magnets sit invisibly in the base of the tray and use the original metal drip plate of your machine as an anchor point. Once you set the tray in place, it pulls itself into the right position and stays there, even if you set a cup down carelessly.
Nothing changes on the machine. Take the tray off and the Dedica is back to stock condition.
The Space
Over 24 % more height under the spout.
The stock drip tray and the usual extensions build over 4.3 cm tall. Our tray measures 3.3 cm. That's a full extra centimeter you gain up top, often exactly the difference between "doesn't fit" and "fits".
Enough room for your favorite cup, tall glasses, and a coffee scale under the portafilter.
Materials, honestly
Two plastics, each where it belongs.
The body is made of PLA, precisely printed and dimensionally stable in everyday use. Wherever water sits, PETG does the work: the removable container catches drips and leftover water without letting anything through.
Honestly, that also means: please hand-wash both parts briefly. They're not made for the dishwasher.
Care in one sentence: empty the container, hand-wash with warm water, dry, put back.
The Magnet Check
10 seconds to know if it holds.
Lift the upper grid on your machine and check what material the tray underneath is made of. Metal means: the magnets grip. On the EC685 (Style) and the EC885 (Arte), that's the case from the factory.
The EC890 (Duo) has a plastic tray. The magnet finds no grip there. For it, the same tray exists without magnets, it simply rests in place and creates the same room.

Frequently Asked Questions
Answered briefly.
Does it hold on my machine?
If your machine has a metal drip tray insert, yes. That's the case from the factory on the EC685 and the EC885, where the magnets grip right away. The EC890 has a plastic insert, for it there's the same tray in the version without magnets.
Do I need to modify anything on the machine?
No. The original metal drip plate stays in the machine, it's the counterpart for the magnets. Take the tray off again and your Dedica is back to stock condition.
Does it wobble or rattle?
No. The magnets pull the tray into position when you set it down and hold it about 0.2 mm above the plate instead of letting it rest on top. That's exactly what prevents the rattling. It doesn't shift even if you set a cup down carelessly.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
No, please don't. The body is made of PLA, the removable container of PETG. Hand-wash both briefly with lukewarm water, in the dishwasher the heat can deform the material.
