The flattest tray in the range and our best-selling item. At 3.2 cm tall, you gain a centimeter under the spout: enough for a tall glass, a thermal mug or a coffee scale. Since August 2026 it comes as two parts, the perforated grid and its own drip container underneath.

The Space
A centimeter more height, no modifications.
The original drip tray and the usual extensions build over 4.3 cm tall. Our Livanto tray measures 3.2 cm. The gained centimeter is often exactly the difference between "doesn't fit" and "fits perfectly".
That means room for tall glasses, a thermal mug or a barista scale under the portafilter too. And despite the flat profile, there's still enough surface for two cappuccino cups side by side.
Materials, honestly
Two plastics, each where it belongs.
The body is made of PLA, the matte black, finely textured surface blends into the look of the Dedica. Wherever water sits, PETG does the work: the removable container catches drips and leftover water.
Honestly, that also means: please hand-wash both parts briefly. They're not made for the dishwasher.
Care in one sentence: empty the container, hand-wash with lukewarm water, dry, put back.
Fitting it
One minute, and you need no tools.
Lift the upper grid out of your machine. Underneath is the original drip tray, that comes out too, and below it, depending on the year, a second catch container in metal or plastic. That one comes out as well.
Then you drop our container in and lay the grid on top. Done. Because both original parts come out, what they are made of no longer matters. That is exactly why the old question of magnetic or not doesn't exist any more.

3D printed when you order.
Your tray doesn't sit on a shelf. It's only made after your order, on a Bambu Lab H2S in our Munich workshop. Afterwards it's checked, packed by hand, and on its way to you from 5 October.
The fine print layers on the surface aren't a flaw, they're the signature of the process.

Does the tray fit my Dedica?
Yes, every one: EC685, EC785, EC885 and Duo EC890. There are no versions left and nothing to look up, because our own drip container sits under the grid and your machine's original parts come out for it. How to fit it is explained further down.
Do tall glasses and a coffee scale fit underneath?
That's exactly what it's built for. At 3.2 cm tall, it's flatter than the original drip tray at 4.3 cm. That leaves room under the portafilter for tall glasses, a thermal mug or a coffee scale.
Despite the flat profile, the footprint stays wide enough for two cappuccino cups side by side.
What are its dimensions?
The grid measures 149.0 × 133.0 × 32.0 mm (width × length × height), the drip container underneath 101.7 × 110.6 × 21.2 mm.
How do I clean it?
By hand, with lukewarm water and a little washing-up liquid. Just lift out the water-carrying PETG container to empty it. Not in the dishwasher: the heat can deform PLA and PETG.
Is it available in other colors?
Matte black is standard, it matches the Dedica. Special requests are still welcome: a different color or an engraving, we do on request, for an extra charge. Write to us at mail@studio48nord.de.

Your tray is only printed after your order. From 5 October it will be printed, checked and handed over for shipping, out of Munich. Shipping costs 3.90 € within Germany and 6.90 € to the EU, every additional piece ships free.
