For every De'Longhi Dedica
I love my Dedica. Simple machine, and set up properly it makes great coffee. One thing always bugged me, though: two cappuccino cups don't fit side by side, and my favourite cup doesn't fit underneath. So I built my own tray. It is 3.2 cm tall, replaces the stock tray completely and fits every Dedica.

The Build
Under the grid sits its own PETG drip container, and the grid is held by a lip in its recess.
Your machine stays unchanged. Take both parts out and the Dedica is back to stock condition. It holds almost as much as the large original container, even though it is far flatter. To empty it, you pick it up between thumb and index finger and lift it out.
Materials
The body is PLA. Where water sits, PETG is the better material because it copes with moisture long-term: the removable container catches drips and rinse water without letting anything through.
Hand-wash both parts briefly. They're not made for the dishwasher.
Care: empty the container, hand-wash with warm water, dry, put back.
Fitting it
Lift the upper grid out of your machine. Underneath is the original drip tray, that comes out too, and below it, depending on the year, a second catch container in metal or plastic. That one comes out as well.
Then you drop our container in and lay the grid on top. Done. Because both original parts come out, it no longer matters what they were made of. That is exactly why the old question of metal or plastic doesn't exist any more.

Made in Munich
Your tray is only printed after your order, on a Bambu Lab H2S in our Munich workshop. Afterwards it's checked, packed by hand, and on its way to you within 1 to 3 business days.
You can see the fine print layers on the surface if you look closely. They come from the process and are part of it.

The grid measures 148.7 × 134.1 × 32.0 mm (width × length × height), the container underneath 101.7 × 110.6 × 21.2 mm. The 3.2 cm height is the point: the stock drip tray builds 4.3 cm tall, so you gain a centimeter under the spout.
No, please don't. The body is made of PLA, the water-carrying container of PETG. Hand-wash both briefly with lukewarm water, in the dishwasher the heat can deform the material.
No. The tray sits under the cup and catches drips and leftover water, your coffee stays in the cup. The removable PETG container collects the caught water, which you take out to empty.
